How are you finding Italian Summer? @Gargravarr was kind enough to PIF it to me and, initially, I really enjoyed it. Over the course of 12 months, though, two things emerged. 1. I began to detect a weird odour underneath the top notes, one that I can only describe as being like very faint vomit. And, if that were not enough, 2. I noticed that the white face cloth and sponge I use when I shave were both starting to stain a sort of yellowy orange colour. I've not encountered either phenomena before with other soaps, so was surprised when I did with this one.

Interesting, it has been a while so I honestly cannot recall - but you have gotten me curious/worried now ...

Used this morning and didn't notice either ...

... which could also be just me!

I've used a lot of other soaps that seemed destined to stain with dark coloured lather, but none did.
