As for the topic at hand @Sinister Topiary I've some new regular/small pucks of Col Conk Amber that I would be happy to trade for something else of interest if you're a fan of Col Conk ?
Thanks for the offer, but I'll pass. I'm not a conk soap fan and won't replace my current stock. I was just puzzled at comments that it is difficult to lather.
I can get a great lather from it to begin with but it won't last and dissipated as the shave went on. Most say the same thing.
.... I may give it another go soon with a face lather and put some hot water on the puck to begin with and see if the results vary at all.
There are SOOOOO many great soaps out there why not just pick one that works as it is intended?
