Kids love this little guy He disappeared for a few days, then came back. So I pestered him just in case he went for good.

Really happy with these, as unlike the first one, these are all off training wheels; all manual settings. To make things easier on the camera, I got real close too. He didn't seem to mind.

May not be great from a compositional POV, but trying to get good shots first…

What great shots Drubbing nothing like selfies to get you started in photography. :)
Nah don't really mean that I am jealous, all I have around here in the way of bird life is Lorikeets that never stay still long enough and some bloody great bats that only cruise around very late at night.
Well done to you sir.

Yeah I'm jealous. I might just drive round your place and have a look.

By the way, nothing wrong with a few bats GT. One of the most successful mammals on the face of this earth.

Southern Boobook Owl ?
Leave it some mince in the evening and see if in time you can encourage it roost locally.
Will help control any mice issues generally.

Cool bird, and nice shots Drubs!

Really good photos ,I keep coming back just to have another look.
