Culmak Brush

G'day. I recently bought an old but obviously unused brush from an antique shop. It came from a deceased estate according to the shop owner. He said it is known as butterscotch colour. It is marked Culmak, pure badger, best badger 84. It also has the gold "Sterilized made in London, England decal in perfect condition. Can anyone tell me anything about it, please?

Fantastic score! The old Culmaks are great brushes. Not much in the way of backbone in my experience but great little lather monsters. Culmak are still trading but their current brushes are nowhere near as good. All boar or synthetic with moulded handles.

A certain @Nightguard had one of these for sale a while ago

Thanks Mate. That one is certainly the same shape as mine, the "Culmak" name and the "84 is identical but mine has "Pure Badger" and "Made in England" between the name and the number. It has the "Sterilized" sticker 12-13mm below all that. The colour of the handle looks alittle darker on mine but that may be due to the photo. My brush is a very rich butterscotch colour. Wish I knew how to load photos here. Tried before a few times but something at my end seems to block them!

Pictures or it didn't happen ;)

Thanks Mate, but I think the problem is with some of my software at this end. I have tried to upload stuff in other forums etc. without success. I will try tonight. I haven't even been able to sell on ebay lately because I couldn't upload photos!
