I was just flicking across the channels this morning, and I saw that really annoying telemarketer guy, spruiking a "new" version of an old safety razor, that uses DE blades.

I will have to pay a bit more attention next time, I think.

In the deal was a safety razor body, a bunch of "stainless steel double edge blades", and if you are one of the first 97 (wtf?) callers, they will double it up, because we all need a second one...

Now he added quickly at the end, that the extras were over $120 of savings, so they must be asking a pretty penny for this thing.

Comments? Anyone else see the ad?
 
Was it the Micro Touch One razor? They've been big in the U.S. and have been selling well. They are a knock off of the Weishi TTO (which is a knock off of an old Gillette).
 
Yeah it could have been that one. I wasn't paying much attention, as it was more than one blade...
 
and most likely available from Chinese websites for under $10 delivered iirc.
