This was my poison a couple of nights ago, and it's quickly escalated to being one of my all time favourite cocktails.

Penicillin. A God's gift.

Of course, during that same evening more cocktails were consumed:

Whisky sour (mine), three Dark & Stormy's and one G&T.


If you guys ever make your way to Bilbao, it will be my pleasure to take you to this most excellent whisky bar.

Incidentally, the owner is my regular Scotch provider. My latest acquisition was a beautiful Bunnahabhain. Peaty, but not over the top à la Ardbeg.

Don't get me wrong, I love Ardbeg as much as the next guy, but I like peat as a secondary character in my whisky, I don't need it to be all I feel in my mouth.


However, it works BRILLIANT as the smoaky float in the Penicillin.
