I have had a shave with this razor today and will be comparing it to its sibling, the H&S N075. I used a razor blade that came with it (Nacet) and St James of London shaving cream. If you enjoy smooth and efficient razors then the H&S N075 is for you. However, if you enjoy smooth, efficient razors with lots of blade feel then this razor is for you. I don’t know why this razor has so much blade feel; maybe it‘s because it’s made out of titanium or I am not used to shaving with Nacet blades.
Now, this razor has been touted in other shaving forums as being very mild but to me it’s not any milder than the H&S N075. It is lighter and more manoeuvrable though. I think that Errol would enjoy this razor and since he is better at reviewing razors than me I would be happy to send him this razor for him to review. I would be interested to hear his opinion regarding the blade feel of this razor. So, to sum up, this razor is a keeper with a tad more blade feel than I am used to. I will try other brand blades to see if that changes anything.
I’ll be interested in your opinion regarding blade feel and efficiency compared to the H&S N075.Great review, its always good to read what others have to say about different razors. Thanks for the offer but mine must be getting close, it‘s about six weeks since it was ordered. I will run a critical eye over it before the end of the year.
I had another shave today using an Astra blade and enjoyed it more. I thought that there was less blade feel and the shave felt much smoother. Either I am getting more familiar with this razor or the Nacet blades are not for me (or both could be true). I had never used a Nacet blade before and I was going to get a packet of 100 blades to check them out (seeing how it seems to be a popular blade in shaving forums) but I won’t bother with them now. I have plenty of other brands that I like a lot.
I will try a Nacet blade on one of my favourite razors to see if anything changes. Who knows, I may be pleasantly surprised.when I first used nacet blades I never liked them either, revisited a year or so later and love em now.. try revisiting them at a later date and/or try them in other razors
