The Romera knots are excellent. Mine is a lovely example of what a badger knot should be. Just beware that his customer service can be quite dodgy at times.

Thanks Eggy & co. I'm still waiting for my brushes to arrive from the States. Should be here early next week. I'll be able to measure them then.

@Lifes a Peach - What size and type knot do you have? And is it a fan?

It seems they only have 24-28mm knots. That's a good size but a lot of vintage brushes struggle to fit a 22mm knot. I could enlarge the hole though...

Mine is a bulb 24mm knot with a 52mm loft.
