G'day from Sydney

Some of us have wives that balance the credit card statement each month are able to withstand the enabling and peer pressure.
Just how many wives do you have?

Welcome to the forum @dewynter... I lived in a strange but nice place called Sydney about forty years ago. I was down there recently... long enough to realise that it is now more like an Asian city and the traffic drives accordingly!

A-ha-ha! Did you drive on Pennant Hills Road recently? The worst road in Sydney and the second worst road in NSW. I'm a patient guy usually, but I swear every second while I'm driving there in the morning or in the evening. Thinking about moving to CC or Hunter, but unfortunately have to stay in the city for now.

Yes... I went down Pennant Hills Road to Cherrybrook last week and then across to St Leonards and then back North along Pacific Highway to Wahroonga and M1. What a bloody experience! Those narrow lanes were never designed for B Doubles, Truck & Dogs, government buses and bloody great big caravans, all of whom driven by brain-dead morons who obviously don't realise they are supposed to drive within the marked lanes! Thank God I'm a country boy!!!

Hi folks,
Shaving with DE razor for 6 month already. Re-discovered the pleasure of using brushes, good shaving soap and lathering (doing that during my Uni days but then switched to cartridges and aerosol cans). My favourite setup so far is Merkur Heavy Classic 34С and EJ Kelvin with Voskhod blades and Mühle Silvertip V2.0 Fibre Brush. Have shaving soap and cream acquisition disorder. Favourite is the TOBS Sandalwood shaving cream so far but I like to rotate my creams and soaps. Really like hot towel with Vicks Vaporub as a prep on weekends.

PS. (I know it's a bit late for this announcement, but I just got my account approved) Sydneysiders, there is 'Mind Body Spirit Festival' today at Crystal Theatre, Portland, New South Wales 2847 where The Stray Whisker has a stall where you can sample and sniff all products. Con ( @shavetheman ) from The Stray Whisker was there as well. It was absolutely pleasure to meet him.

Cheers
Welcome @dewynter

The amusing thing is that it's school holidays traffic at the moment. That means the traffic is far "lighter" than usual...
