Hello all, really enjoy this forum so I have decided joining would be a good thing.
I have used a straight razor for many years. I have recently had to switch to safety razor. The joint wisdom and experience of the many member is helpful in so many way.

Nothing to be ashamed of for switching from straights to safety razors, it's what suits your lifestyle and makes you feel good that counts. I've done the same myself many years ago.

It was a bugger. I had a stroke a while back so shift became a necessity.
Using a Feather AS D2 as a daily.

Sorry to hear that. I hope it hasn't impacted your life too much otherwise. I stopped using a straight (a Western kamisori) when i started shaving my head. It just took way too much time out of my day.

Hey it’s all good. Sun still comes up every morning. We all have to adapt along the journey.
Love my shaving ritual. Glad to be here. It is a trial shaving your head with a straight razor so swings and roundabouts.
