I'm sorry I didn't understand your comment. Are the ones in the link I posted the Chinese copies of the Chinese razor? I had read somewhere that the original is no longer made or they don't make them anymore. You got that back on Mate. Those are the Shield Copies, unreal isn't it, they don't spare their own.
I reread and understood better, thank you sir. I see they also replicate the GEM blade razor except the single edge. Speaking of razors with GEM blades, I apologize for asking here, how do these razors shave? Isn't that kind of blade pretty hard to come by?You got that back on Mate. They shave great a Gem G bar sounds like it may suit you and blades are ācheap asā google, Connaught shaving.I reread and understood better, thank you sir. If you are still looking for a gentle and mild razor you could look at the RazoRock Mamba 53 from Italian Barber. I had a quick look on AliExpress, Temu and Alibaba but couldn't find its equivalent.Cheers. I had introduced myself and as mentioned I am not a native English speaker, forgive me if I misspell something.
As I wrote in my title comment I am asking if you can recommend me a very gentle DE razor, as if the razor blade doesn't even feel when it passes over the face. I like that gentle feeling, and if you can please recommend any razors you can think of even clones or cheap Chinese razors that you can easily buy on Aliexpress or similar.
Many thanks to those who will help me with advice, to read again with pleasure.![]()

Those Feather blades ONLY work with OneBlade razors. There aren't really any alternatives to the Personna blade (now apparently being produced by Accutek). All of the others are for paint scrapers.Thank you all for your advice gentlemen. For the GEM blades, seeing the nice Shield Razor razors gave me half an idea to try them, however I've never used them and I don't know how I would feel about them. For now I don't want to venture into purchasing that razor, it might hurt or I might not like it when I try it. So I will first ask some friends in Italy to send me some razors for GEM blades to test and see if it works on me, in which case think about purchasing a razor of that kind. Allow me one last question about GEM blades which I know very little about.
It seems to me that for the most part the ones that are most easily found are the Personna branded GEMs but would the Feather FHS-5s also be good?
While the Feather FHS-10 blades I seem to have read and understand are slightly different, does a modification need to be made to the blade first?
Since there aren't many alternatives for these GEM blades and I like to test and try different blades, would the Chinese blades on Aliexpress sold for industrial purposes or those in carbon steel also be fine?
Sorry if the question seems a little silly to you.
So Feather FHS-10 as I had already read that it is only good for the Oneblade razor. Personna actually GEMs are now sold under the new Accutek name, so no alternative to these GEM blades? Those Feather blades ONLY work with OneBlade razors. There aren't really any alternatives to the Personna blade (now apparently being produced by Accutek). All of the others are for paint scrapers.
The good news is that these blades are really, really good. There are modern GEM razors, but some of them are a bit on the expensive side. That said, my Atelier Durdan Vestige is the one razor I'd run back into a burning building for, it's that good.
No.Wouldn't the Feather FHS-5 fit in that type of razor either?
Cheers. I had introduced myself and as mentioned I am not a native English speaker, forgive me if I misspell something.

I agree with your reasoning sir. It was just out of curiosity also because in addition to having many DE blades I also have SE razors and blades that I don't get to use so often.No.
And I guess there's no reason to bother with the absence of alternatives to the Personna/Accutec GEM blade if what you have is already perfect. The tyranny of a superabundance of DE blades has a tendency to blind us to the simplicity of a single and excellent choice. Once upon a time, there was only one Gillette DE blade.
Back when I first started shaving, in the days when there was no internet, we had no choice of blades other than whatever the chemists' shops were offering. Somehow we survived.
