New from the US, specifically Missouri, in search of shaving info and talk from a different perspective. I'm retired (5 years) and have made wet shaving my morning hobby. I'm a DE and bowl guy and I have a monogamous relationship with my EJ synthetic brush, but I do enjoy playing the field with a rotation of 4 modern and around 12 Gillette vintage. I lean towards artisan soaps and I'm currently running through about 6 pucks of Stirling and Route 66.

Regards, Pat

Welcome @Ptr74
It's a great hobby to have isn't it?

It's interesting that you have a good lineup of razors and soaps, but not so with brushes. Why is that?

I'd also love to hear you favourite aftershaves! You didn't mention any. [emoji4]

Welcome @Ptr74 - I'm sure you will have a great time here (y)

I would also be very much interested in your brush line-up

Hi Pat and welcome aboard!

Looking forward to hearing more about you gear and preferences over time :)

G'day Pat! Welcome to the forum, mate! The Stihl and I just finished cutting up a tree that fell across our driveway at 0500 this morning. A helluva way to wake up! I love the smell of two-stroke and sawdust in the mornings... smells like... next year's firewood. Really bad wind here ATM. Great to have you with us!

Why did I know I was going to get that response? ....

'cause you knew that we are so immature around here we could not miss the opportunity for a fart joke? :)

Hope you are staying safe in the wind - strong gusts down here in CBR too, around 100kmph max.
