How often do you shampoo you're badger brushes

As above. It sounds nuts, but a clean or good soak in detergent once a year, is not a silly idea. Brushes collect soap scum and shaving soap doesn't clean itself out.

Probably only really worth it for the highly stuffed expensive badgers.
 
I just use baby shampoo.

This is what is recommended by the majority of expensive makeup brush makers according to my other half and they are basically much the same as shaving brushes and made from teh same or very similar materials.

If I want to disinfect I add a small drop of Dettol in the mix.
