I ordered my first scuttle

That scuttle sure is beautiful @Maxine D. Great choice in colour and glaze. I think it would convert me to bowl shaving during winter!

Of course not, I am steely, I am resolute, I am...so fuqqed when Winter comes to Canberra ...oh boy, I am so wanting a scuttle.

Seriously, I needed a few days to choose the glaze and it came out better than I expected. I'm glad I choose the scuttle with the wider bowl, 4 inches wide x 1.5 inch deep.

Oh @Maxime, how little do you know.
Here in Darwin it sometimes gets as cold as 15 degrees in winter (ºC not ºF).



Although to be fair, Canberra does get sub zero ºC in Winter.
 
Beautiful scuttle - just out if curiosity: why didn't you go with hg pottery out of Melbourne?
