I have just received the sad news that Hungarian straight razor artisan has passed away. He was dealt a very bad hand, he fought bravely but did not stand a chance.

My warmest condolences to his family, specially to his little baby girl.

I haven't heard of Jenes, but this is sad news nonetheless.
That too at such a young age!

He had a very "clean" sense of aesthetics, never going for razors beyond 7/8. Maybe it was the Dr. in him, this scientific approach, made his razors perhaps a tad dull, if you compare them with others such as Drew Dick, Ali from Ali's blades, Yuryi Kravchenko or many others, but they were very pretty nevertheless. He will be very missed in the European straight razor community.
