Vintage shopping time in the wild again. Today I found a complete gold plated Bostonian set and an Old Spice mug. Talked them down to $90 for both. I’m happy and yes, I did know that one tooth was bent. You can’t have it all and I thought the rest of the kit was too good to pass up.

Light polishing this morning and it glows. Also the inner tray fell out and thankfully came back together well.




 
Gotta love the simplistic beauty, ingenuity and craftsmanship on knurling and case.

Do you have the SE General to compare the Vector, may I asked how much did you get this including International postage in AUD, because I’m thinking about getting a Vector this year.

$283.29 including foreign transaction fee and shipping. I think the discount at the time was 15% back in Sept 2019. Polished would have been nice but unpolished was dear enough without adding to it. That exchange rate is a killer.......

Yesterday’s vintage fair finds - an unused Australian Cobb & Co aftershave and a nice lidded 1960s Old Spice mug to go with the 1950s one I picked up recently. Sadly, there’s no soap in it.

I’ve not had any Cobb & Co before though I’ve seen empty bottles in the wild. I’ve been led to believe that they were around in the 60s and 70s mostly?

Well done @alfredus. Good to see yet another Wolfman join the P&C tribe. Surely that has to be a record as it seems nearly every second SOTD post these days includes one of these beauties...?

I guess it is hard to use anything else, if you have one of these beauties at home...almost forgot to put my name down again for a 202? release :D
