As you're about to scrape your mug with an insanely sharp blade, removing layers of skin? No ingredient is going to cause anywhere near that much damage.
Yeah right once my skin is sliced and what's bloody underneath exposed to the air, the last thing I want entering that closed system is arko

Challenge ?
As I've some hydrochloric acid I could send over as an aftershave mate ;)

Well it is not shaving related BUT it is nice to get a second hand text book for a little over half the cost of a new one ...

Roll on next semester (after I finish the 3,000 word essay for the Winter Term ...)

2 week delivery from the US.
Cheaper and faster than delivery here.
I did order 50 of each, 55 GSB arrived, 45 Platinum and an Gillette/Wilkinson arrived. They must have run out of stock of the platinum.
Tips for which one to try first?

Similar blades, I get similar results out of each. Silver Blues my personal prefernce by a small margin.

If you wanted to try, you should have asked. I have heaps of the Indian Wilks which are somewhat unwanted by me, and would have spotted you a pack each of the other two to try. I have 2000 of the Dark Platinums, wouldn't miss 5 at all.

I'm allowed to do Dad jokes now aren't I?

Or do I have to wait until he starts groaning after them?

My 14 YO son is starting to make them - it is never too early ...

Today hunting I found the much vaunted and highly prized Alu-Tech. It's in the best condition I've seen of one of these in so I picked it up. At $4 I couldn't resist.

There was plenty on show today: a Slim, Bakelite Tech, Single Ring, a lovely Superspeed, some 1912s and Valets. I only bought the Alu-Tech though.

...Hmmm...Prices like that would help the restraint though.

I think we're simply quite spoilt in here - with BST items very generally selling WELL BELOW their real market values. Gillette adjustables of all types have become very collectable so I don't think that $75 is that far off a fair opening asking price for one in good condition.

That said IMHO the Alu Tech was around 5x under fair market value so KD did very well in making off with it for Chinese generic's type $$$.

True about our BST being good value. But I think a flea market or antique store prices ought to be relatively good value. At least a bit below market value.
Do you think that's a fair assumption?

Really? I didn't know they were rare or sought after!? What's so good about them?
