I’ve been DE shaving for about a year now that I’ve slowed down with work and have enough time to enjoy a good shave.

My Kit up until recently has mainly been Vintage Gillettes…I’ll probably get some backlash for that admission

Well I won’t say what I’ve said before re Vintage Gillettes but you’ll get no negativity from myself or @Mark1966 & others having them and as our Master Guru @Errol said on his Gillette Toggle D1 review “modern adjustable razors are not even competing in the same league, the Toggle is so far advanced”, and I won’t dispute that!

Damn it, that’s uncanny my 3 are
1;The New Set 88 for shave ability smooth/efficency
2; Same, the Gen 1 IMHO the “best” looking razor made
3; Same, the Gen 3 flat plate is equal to the 88, I believe due to being heavier 59 V 82gm.

...but those who do vintage razors AND soaps AND vintage NOS blades - those folks are just plain loopy
