Lather for beginners - recommended links

Definite possibility

@Sxot when the time is right when you have enough money to buy a Best Badger that find, but with a boar brush is cheaper around $30 to help along the way ;)

When I bought my first Simpsons Duke 3 Best Badger brush was $200 and it was pure luck and that's the only brush I've ever own before I start buying a boar, and I didn't have any issue with face and bowl lather with a Duke 3 Best it just pure luck a lot of people say Best Badger is the way to go not Super Badger.

Try a palm lather (in your hand). Squeeze out all the water from your brush, take a nice dollop of cream and very slowly add the water (just 2-3 drops) every ~30sec. Just feel the cream and how it slowly builds the lather. Every brush and soap/cream is different and you need to get a feel for what you can reach. A palm lather is great in that regards. Don't be afraid of using too much product either...
