We got the loft right. The tips are softer than the Bob Quinn, and really good backbone. Some may like it with 1mm more loft (around that 53.7mm), just to give it a little more flow through, but I wouldn't give up the backbone myself. I'd definitely set the fan a little lower 50-51mm just because it's so soft on top

Myrtle, Bergamot, Basil with a warm sweet amber base that has just a hint of cypress off the puck in that order - the scent develops well as you lather as to be expected. It's not a blisteringly strong bergamot dominant fragrance thankfully , but a warm diffuse citrus herbaceous hum with the superb amber and cypress foundation. It's very well done and makes a fine lather indeed.

@Young Buck it doesn't bloom very much for a 50mm loft for a 25mm knot and I agree the backbone looks pretty strong, does the tips feels too scritchy or scratchy and when you use it more often the tips will start to curl and it will feel more like gel tips after a while of used.

Bloom is limited as it's probably only been used 10 times. Tips are soft no scratch, but provides good scrub due to the amount of backbone. Similar to Manchurian hair. Thicker than Shavemac two band silvertip. IMO if the loft was 54, it would be absolutely perfect for me.

Proraso green. I didn't rinse the brush out after my shave this afternoon and as I was rinsing it out just moments ago I began to lather on my hand to help get the soap out of the knot. What ensued was an enormous explosion of lather! This brush is so dense, it's a lather machine!
