Hi Fellow Shavers,
Im from Perth and have been into the hobby for 3 years now.
Not sure why it took me so long to join as I have been lurking for quite a while now and have read all of Errols reviews. Thanks to said reviews I have spent far too much on razors (thanks @Errol). My collection currently consists of a pearl flexi, gillette fatboy, gillette tech, karve cb with c & d plates, aylsworth apex +plate, goodfellas bayonetta, razorock lupo 1.27 and maxwell june standard & ex plate.
Thanks for reading.

Cheers.
I have a few soaps in the cabinet. Proraso, noble otter, barrister & mann, pheonix & beau, but my favourite so far is wooly wash.
I’m a sucker for citrus. Any recommendations?

Iana's soaps are fantastic. I love Tranquility!

Citrus-wise: Razorock's XXX is a dupe of the OG citrus scent (AdP Colonia) and is a great performer as well. Extro Cosmesi's Bergamotto di Calabria is one of the loveliest scents I own, and is wonderfully slick. MdC's Argrumes is a great soap and while it may appear expensive, the jar will last you years unless you dedicate your shaving career to finishing it.

Finally, it is not really citrusy, but is inexpensive and readily available down under: the Speick stick. Amazing lather and divine scent. Your den will not be complete without it! :)

There is also the Citrus That Shall Not Be Named™. But don't go there unless you pine for the smell of freshly cleaned urinals at a country RSL in the 1970's...

+ 1 for Lana’s and I can vouch for the MDC Argrumes, I’ve had +70 shaves out of a MDC Original and the surface looks “just touched”, FYIW the MDC sample jars last 30 plus shaves and still going

Thank you!
I have been tempted by some of the SE’s but figured they are just half of a double. Any recommendations?
Yep,

Atelier Durdan Vestige
Tatara Amakuni
Atelier Durdan La Faulx
Blackland Vector
Blackland Sabre V1 L2
... And I've heard the Alpha Spirit punches well above its price

Thank you!

Gem G-bar or EverReady E-bar - ignore that modern stuff. I mean, if it is not 50 years old is it really worth shaving with?

Then Les should go straight for the Ever-ready Streamline or Jewel (same razor different cases) for the epitome in Vintage SE’s (IMHO) I won’t at this stage “mention” Vintage Gillettes 😀
