Looking for the original owner. Possible Scam scenario

Gents,

Trying to track down the original owner/photographer of this APR set.

Reason being someone I know is trying to scam them. They sent a second image with a clearly photoshopped post it note with their name and date on it.

Perhaps the window sill looks familiar?

If you are the owner of this photo, drop me a PM so I can let my buddy know for certain that his seller is bogus!

My buddy is stateside. So is the seller offering this to him for purchase.

Last I heard he’s waiting for ingredients to produce the fragrance. Once the rona subsides, I understand a great soap base will be used moving forward.

Last I heard, APR will be collaborating with Sri at Wholly Kaw for a new set. Scent notes unknown. No idea when that's coming out or even if it's even happening.

Hopefully APR can find the time to take care of their own local vendor/market as well. Ben of Mammoth Soaps (now House of Mammoth) entrusted his Tusk recipe to Vida at Chicago Grooming for her to co-produce to avoid scalpers flipping his products for above retail. The rarity of APR goods is reaching counterfeit-able status. Can you imagine someone printing fake labels, mixing poorly made dupes into a heat and pour pre-made soap base?

It's been done with razors and razor blades, so nothing would surprise me.
