Hey guys
A few weeks ago, I noticed one of our better known Aussie wet-shave retailers stocked empty aluminium shave soap containers. From memory, they were < $3, about 145g with a screw-top lid upon which there was a blank label. Now of course, I cannot recall where I saw it.

If someone could jog my memory, I'd be grateful. Thanks.

The Stray Whisker containers look good IMO

There are also some other options....

IKEA have Grundtal Containers which are very good and used by shavers around the world (I believe we have some local members who use them and buy soaps such as Mike's in teh bar form and press them in to the container).

I also have some containers I picked up at Cheap as Chips. Not as big as either of the above but great for putting samples etc. in. From memory they are about $4 for a pack of 4 but they are a lot cheaper and flimsier than the above.

Phil, you're THE man. I searched TSW website with "Shaving Soap Container" for no hits! Obviously, it's case AND hyphen sensitive :ROFLMAO: .

Thanks again Phil.

@nsavage, thank you also. However, my local Ikea is t'other side of the Swan River and we southerners don't travel into hostile territory  .

EDIT: Bu**er, they're "Out of Stock" at TSW :(:( .

Well because you CANNOT venture north of the river - http://www.ikea.com/ms/en_AA/shop_online/

The soap puck container from the TSW is the same container at Target store for $1 in the food container area.

"Antique shops"?? I'm almost an antique myself or at least that's how I feel in the morning when I awake (5AM). It takes a black coffee with a dash of Brandy to get me going!!

I recall an antique shop in Woden, near the Southern Cross Club.

Hmmm, don't know that one. Might have to go hunting!

I know of a couple in Fyshwick and that is about it to my knowledge.
