Making a smaple from shaving soap/cream?

This is a newbie question but if I wanted to take a sample of my Shaver Heaven Hubba Hubba to send to my brother, what is the best way of doing this?

Is there different methods used for getting a sample depending on the different types of soaps?

Thanks for your help.

It's quite a soft soap isn't it? Put it in some glad wrap, flatten it as much as possible then chuck it in an envelope.

I'm with @Nonick, spoonful in a ziplock bag, lick envelope and stamp, send.

Just don't go overboard and keep spooning that soap into your mouth!

What about with a harder soap, do you cut it with a knife?

...knifeful (either as a single slice or grates) in a ziplock bag, lick envelope and stamp, send.

Thanks for your help, I knew it would be an easy answer but I couldn't get it. Must be too late in the evening :)

Harder soaps soften with indirect heat, so once placed into a glad wrap pocket, smash that (well roll) with a rolling pin until reasonably flat and then place contents into a zip lock and finally an envelope.
Add random contents to confuse sender/postage staff :)

If you start using a jack hammer, probably the soap is really too hard to send a sample of, and tell your brother to stop being a Scrooge and buy his own
