I'd avoid the vinegar. While only a mild acid it can aggravate any plate loss and is normally not necessary

The Telerazor. Battery vibrating razor patented 1935. Takes a standard DE, a modern battery is a little long but it does work. I don't know that anyone needs a vibrating razor but it should be fun to try
