Evening Lads just an ask who has or had a Merkur 1904 (42c) and if so what are they like

Which is better open or closed comb
 
I had an OC 1904 and sold it on. They look great. It was an extremely comfortable shave, probably most comfortable I've ever had, but too mild for me. I struggled to get a close shave with it, but I also struggle to get a close shave with an EJ89.
If you like a milder shave then these are brilliant.
 
Or get yourself a razorock mission safety razor any way the question is @FatBoy58 are you looking for open or close comb ?
