Merkur Progress assembly issue

JugV2

Simply boring.

I took the Progress apart to clean it and was wondering if the knob on the bottom came out at all, and then managed to yank it out completely.

So now I am stuck as to how to get it back together.

The yellow dial on the bottom is now out, the spindle that screws up into the head...does anyone know what I mean or do I need to put a picture or two up?

Feel like a dick for doing this and it's a bit embarassing!

Any assistance would be very welcome. Also accepting jokes, digs and negative comments about my technical skills.

After much swearing I worked out how to put it together.

FFS indeed.

Have you gone through this a few times Drubbing?

So, I'm assuming you don't actually repair mobile phones

No. What an horrible thing to have to do.

Glad you fixed it. a Jug sans Progress is a horror uncontemplateable.

It's a good thing they're apparently easy to re-assemble. Sorry Jug, I mean they're re-assemblable (that's probably not a word. It should be). Try that with any other TTO that I know of and you'd have to condsider binning it.

I am glad it was fairly easy to put back together.

It has a little 3/4 ring on the bottom that was stopping it from sliding back into place.
