New(ish) Portuguese Boar Bristle Brushes

Couldn't agree more guys - pure white boar bristles don't need any "improving on", and would contrast even better with those attractively finished handles.

Well I bit the bullet today and ordered one from G&C - looks like the quickest way to find out if they work as well as they look. Look for a review in a couple of weeks or so, depending on break-in period :)

Indeed they should :)

Any updates on these brushes? Looks almost identical to the Semogue BC Cerda that I have, except the handle is painted.

One of us, one of us, one of us!
Another Semogue fan :D

Haha, absolutely! Semogue makes some very fine boar brushes although I do prefer the undyed look and wish my BC Cerda was not dyed. It is still a great brush.

I love my 620, and agree that it would look much better unpainted.

I'm thinking of getting something slightly bigger. Maybe the 630 or something else entirely... SOC perhaps?

I've a cherry wood SOC that I might be able to be persuaded to loan out to locals...
