Yep, it's a no from me. I'm sure they are good but there is a definite markup and one only has to look at their previous offers to determine that. If you can afford it then by all means and I definitely hope you enjoy it. I still love the concept and think they're on to something but it's a little out of my price range. Kudo's to the designers though on a clever mechanism design.

Interesting as these razors are from Portugal, does the pricing include the removal of 23% VAT for international orders?

Hmmm, well I guess it's just as well I'm not in the market for one of these beasties - I'm still inclined to stick with SE razors. I only raised the thread in the first place because these Tatara razors are so easy on the eye (IMO much more so than a wolfperson). Reviews of all of them so far have described them as very mild razors, and although I no longer heed the siren call of the serious flayers, I do prefer and expect a certain amount of blade feel.

Yeah I hear you. It's nice to want things every now and then though. Single edge razors are really nice. I was consider a leaf twig last night and then pif it to my father in the hopes to get him off of old stupid cart razors and disposable razors. I bought him an Edwin Jagger DE89 with the 3D knurled handle but he hasn't been tempted so I figured a single edge would be a good start but of course I would like to take it for a spin first.
I'm glad you raised it anyway because I wasn't really aware of that specific razor and enjoy the working mechanics of it. I still truly feel that Tatara will release base plates to address the aggression if I am to understand the mechanism correctly but that's something I'd have to take a closer look at.
The Siren still screams at me every time I look at anything shaving. I'm really glad to have what I have got though. We all have our preferences and it sounds like you have definitely found yours which is really cool and should help you save money unlike the rest of us clowns.
