Hi Guys,
I've been collecting, restoring, plating, making and using safety and straight razors for quite a few years. Some of you may have even had a razor restored by me :-)

I moved to Auckland from UK around 18 months ago. Loving this part of the world and now we are settled, I'm back into the razors. It was tough waiting 3 months for my collection and tools to be shipped from UK and then another 8 months before we settled into our own house with a decent workshop.

My plating setup is now good to go for my safety razors and the belt grinder is sorted in the workshop for my straights.

So, all is good in the world now and great to be able to join a shave forum in this hemisphere :-)

Welcome @Onotoman - great to have you on board!!!

I can personally very highly recommend Dave! He replated once (still from the UK) an Eclipse Red Ring for me and did a stellar job.

G'day @Onotoman welcome to P&C and is great to have a Kiwi here next to our great Aussie neighbor

Welcome @Onotoman !

Glad to have you onboard here and look forward to pictures of your work :notworthy:

Welcome @Onotoman , very much looking forward to sending you my SLIM and Fatboy for some love and attention :)

Welcome, I sincerely hope you are enjoying Auckland and wish you much success in all your business ventures.

It's great to have you and your expertise on board, I am sure there will be quite a few people here putting your talents to work.

Welcome to the great community that is Paste and Cut @Onotoman.

Welcome @Onotoman to the Antipodes!

Exciting to hear that there's a quality razor replater not far away. To echo the others: can't wait to see some pictures (& prices and process details!!!).

So what's your favourite setup currently (brush, soap, aftershave)?
And what's your favourite razor? [emoji6]

Welcome mate. Nice to have a professional restorer in the country!

Have you any details regarding your business that you can share at this stage? Examples of previous work, services offered, pricing etc.?
