newbie question re AU based suppliers

Hi all, as per my previous posts....new to this place. Just wondering (before I pull the pin on yet 'more' stuff.....:bigtears:, does the forum have links/deals with preferred suppliers and/or any discounts with those?

I ask, as I am also a cyclist (yes, one of those 'lycra clad' people that are the subject of much hate and ridicule...so feel free to hurl some abuse.....its easier to accept here than it is on the road when its drink cans and bodily fluids that get flung at me)....and buying cycling gear is a whole other world of preferred suppliers etc etc, many of whom are overseas.

So, who are are our go to people for the face-defuzzing thingys...?

I thought we had a stickie on it somewhere. Anyways @SpeedyPC likes linking things a lot so will prolly help out.

Personally, you have beard and blade, the stray whisker, mensbiz, (shavingmarket and vshod have some ok pricing) for general stuff. Australian Private Reserve, Squadron Soaps, Shaver Heaven and @Sxot that do software (also a few others like washpool farms, whisper in the woods etc). Hardware @Tony Forsyth does great brushes, Brendan @ pacific shave shop on Etsy finds some good vintage gear. International vendors that do good pricing for shipping Connaught, @Gifts&Care.com Juan is great, Englishshavingcompany, top of the chain, maggards.

Apologies for any that I missed, just running off the top of my head. Not really any discounts apart from @Gifts&Care.com with p&c I think it is. I’m not a fan of vender controlled forums, which there are a few.

Interesting, I presume as it is in the High Street section @Monsta_AU - so I might move that thread elsewhere so newcomers can see it.
 
When ordering soaps from the states, I found West Coast Shaving to have the best shipping rate. It's 20 USD flat. Plus the do a free gift special that seems to run most of the time, so you can pick things up like blade samplers or a free Soap of there branding.
