P&B Spitfire

Hey shaving mafia, I recently purchased the wonderful P&B Spitfire from a company overseas. Upon opening i got that beautiful scent and a really good looking soap, however, now my soap is almost a cream. I am not sure if the high humidity of Townsville is affecting it; or if it is something else. when using it for my first shave i bloomed it, as i do with all soaps and it damn near turned to mush. Let it dry out on the window sill and then used it again a few days later, same thing again, have not used it since. To touch the soap is really really soft and i reckon i could scoop it out and bowl lather with it, not to sure about face lathering though.
Any ideas on why this is happening?

My guess is the heat, which is likely to be up there at the moment if our weather is anything to go by. Is it a croap to start with? I had the same problem with Williams, just didn't handle the heat. I could pour it! Try putting it in the fridge and see if it hardens again.

Put it in the freezer overnight and don't bloom it again. P&B soap is soft to start with, blooming it does nothing but turn it to mush.
I made the same mistake with Denali.

Fridge, why didnt i think of that. Thanks gents. The weather here is pretty horrendous at the moment, humidity is slowly creeping up. This is the only soap it has done it to, weird.

I get the same thing happening with Dr Jon's (old formula) and aside from the cream like nature, I see no decrease in performance.
