Proraso Green aftershave

So I got some of this at the shavershop.

I love the eucalyptus scent of Proraso green and I was looking forward to a big hit of it with the aftershave but I find it's a slightly different scent. It's got more of a slightly spicy cologne scent than the soap/preshave scent. Now it pairs very nicely and it's it's a pleasant scent but I somehow wish it was more the eucalyptus green is famous for.

Does anyone else find this?

I thought it was more of a menthol scent. Now that you have mentioned Eucalyptus, I may have to spend some time sniffing it....

The old formulation use to have more menthol and Euc in it. They beiged it down a few years ago.

You can pick up some 444 menthol balm and bomb it with some of that. Just dissolve a bit in the Proraso

Scent doesn't last long anymore after recipe change.

I've dropped it after I finished an old bottle

The scent never lasted long anyway. Most trad. aftershave doesn't linger, it's there for the shave.
