Interesting. I was just looking at eBay and noticed this comment in the description from one seller:

The Super Iridium double edge blades were a popular blade before they were discontinued. Or at least that's what we thought happened to them. Turns out there was a distribution change and the blades are still being made in St. Petersburg, Russia. They are packaged slightly different, but they are the same great blade. Sharp and smooth.

Distribution change happened a few years ago. That's how the first discontinued rumour got started. Others have been trying to revive it ever since.

That's not good news for the currency of your chosen trading commodity though is it. If they actually were not being made anymore, with your stockpile of the bloody things you would be set for years to come. :LOL:

That's only 2 of the 4.5k of them I've got.
There's hundreds of the modern version of these and the SI's, yet can't say I've tried the one's you've got.
From what I've read, some state there's no discernible difference, whilst other swear by them over the repackaged versions.
Either way, nice and I'm tagging @Monsta_AU in this, so he can suitably address the banner situation :)
