unfortunately i cannot help you with your ingrown hair issue as i dont get any but the 'rash' maybe from razor burn, where the razor cuts/grazes your skin instead of just the hairs..

to remedy that, try 'no pressure' on your razor as you cut the growth and make sure your quality of soap is good and the lather is built to a greek yogurt type consistency
