I have a couple GDs and although I took them to the grinder at the heal and toe they both took an edge and are very smooth cutters. (I think the metal is a little softer which means more sharpening but a smoother cut. )

On special at 20% off in Woolies and I thought I must give it a try. It claims to be the original formula and the bottle is a contempary plastic imitation. The odd thing?

Look closely and it is made in Canada!
