What? Me? Offended? Never. My apologies if I somehow gave the impression that I was! Bad writing on my behalf. I was hoping you'd take the bait regarding the reference to pictures and that I'd end up accusing you of being a heathen and you'd retort with expanding your reference to my age by adding that in addition being old I'm also miserable and so on and so on.
I guess I should learn how to use smileys. But they're just so ugly!
My mistake, I jumped to the conclusion that you had sand in your vagina.
Talk about taking a thread offline![]()
...........had no idea how many times I had shaved with the Rapira that was in it..............
That's the indicator to change blades. Even if you've got no idea how many, you must know it's probably more than two and if you change it out it's probably had a good run anyhow. I lose count with vintage Shicks and Spoilers but they can generally go two to three times as long as your average blade. Spreadsheets belong firmly over at you know where. That's a big site. Lots of hunting and nerd killing to keep you busy eggy. Being gun loving yanks I don't think they'd really mind. You'd just be expressing your unquestionable right to bear arms. Start in Florida. You can shoot anybody there.
And if anyone uses a spreadsheet, I will track you down and kill you for being way too nerdy about all of this.
Who needs Florida?
I work with a guy that collects them, and currently owns around 45-50 guns.
I'm glad for the Mark1966 family that it's just razors at this stage.
In his defence my work colleague only collects WWI guns and some of them are works of art. The detailing on an Indian rajah's elephant gun he has is amazingWhen he says: "Stand your ground", you'd better...

Do they actually fire? Or are they decommissioned? I'me sure they're amazing examples of engineering and metal work.
They actually fire... well most of them anyway. He has a mate (a sparky at the mines) that has spent over $500k on guns this year alone.
I think I have reached shave 4 with this blade and I do confess it continues to impress. Lost a bit of sharpness of course but that just means I can go XTG ATG WTG all at the same time - figues eights are possible with a blade that continues to remove whiskers but does not threaten any skin. I had a fleeting thought of looking for some of these to add to the collection, but then realised I had about 80 SE blades a reasonable collection of - cant help myself really really cheap spoilers a large stash of blades acquired from NTK and a bunch of slick schicks on the way. As well of course of a collection of Sharks Derbys and 50 odd Indian Wilkinsons. So I left it as a fleeting thought. Oh yes continues with the Macca Root and this is something I may purchase (too frightened to think how much in the way of soaps and creams I have - some still unopened. Still those looking for a nice workmanlike blade should ive serious consideration to the Voskhod.
Lol!
I'm really starting to see where the adjustable comes into its own. The WTG pass on 8 made short work of the multiple days growth. 6 for the XTG, 4 for ATG all over my cheeks and upper neck. When I get to the lower neck 4 just tugs and hurts, but 5 is a dream.
Also ATG on the chin still leaves some stubble, but 5 feels great!
