My bakelite buddy razor with a Shick (5)
Amazing how sharp and smooth the Shick is after so many shaves. Best blade out there, don't care what anybody says.

Getting hot here in the West. Crankng the Maurer and Wurtz creams (Tabac and Irisch Moos). My summer faves. The menthol stuff makes my eyes water.

Speaking of Menthol, didn't you have a Proraso we were talking about trading? I have a Proraso red I don't need.

Very smooth shave. Damaskeene is just the right amount of aggressive, it's a great one-pass razor.
 
Glad there's few still shaving. Are the rest of you guys growing a beard until the site gets back on its feet?

My quadruple left over stick soap puck
Streamline with GEM SS (2)
Should have used the Featherweight a couple more times before loading this blade in the monster that is the Streamline. A bit rough!

7O'clock bakelite with Shick (6)
Enough said.
 
I shaved using TOBS lemon line cream, made the lather too thick and then proceeded to press too heavily on the skin with a new blade.
Numerous nicks.

very average effort.
 
Tonight's shave:

  • Featherweight w/ GEM SS PTFE
  • Duke 2
  • Tabac
  • Nivea ASB

I've become positively dull with my shaving. Duke and Tabac are such a good combination, I like the scent and the lather made together is exceptional. I used the Featherweight today so that I could compare aggressiveness with the 1912. Not quite as smooth upon completion, but extremely comfortable and less risk of irritation going ATG.

Thomas Method. So named because the originator (gthomas, who obviously can't kiss his own head but thinks his arse should be....constantly) couldn't make his mind up if he wanted to shave using SE or DE so he decided to use both. Mark decided to post a thread over at B&B and is responsible for the world wide fame this method has gained. Actually more like a dozen bewildered posts.

Ah innovators must always suffer the slings and arrows of those with limited imagination :) (Without being boastful at one stage entering Thomas Method shaving into google ranked second in the list) I will take my claim to fame any way I can get it.
