XXX is available now. The rumour I heard it's a clone of AdP but someone put that to rest when they posted the ingredients of both on YouTube. The XXX is supposed to be pretty good though.

Just finished a blade in the Eclipse Red Ring and feel it is time for a change in razor.

Suggestions from anybody?

As in Merkur 38C? My first DE razor. Pretty mild and modern

Straights? I don't have any shave ready!

If you are not going to shave properly (TM) then you must have a Slim somewhere. Load it up with your blade of choice - crank it out to your setting of choice and enjoy the finest razor ever made.

It is somewhat sad that a man with the biggest collection of razors in the southern hemisphere has to ask a few scaly forum mates which razor to use next..........and then settles on a Slim. Not exactly adventurous.

Possibly even a Boring Accountant?

Nobody else suggested anything I had at hand so the Slim it is.
 
@Mark1966 Patience my friend. There's only one at the moment but likely to go for a very large sum. I'll keep my eyes open.

@Pjotr I was thinking the same thing but he saved his reputation by selecting 7, on a public holiday.
