It has been a long time since I've revisited either of my Blackland razors, and this one was a very enjoyable treat. My setups have been very much restricted over the last few days, having to share Mme G's bathroom while an extended wedding party occupies the house. In a week or so, everything should report to normal, and I can breathe and shave like a human being again.

@Mark1966 How do you find the Italian Summer soap? I love the scent, but find the base a little gooey (for want of a better word): it requires a little bit of effort to rinse off after the last pass. Great slickness, but I wonder if this is just my reaction? I'm on tank water, so right down the soft end of the scale.

First use, so hard to really say, but seemed like the usual NO base to me. I'll pay more attention next time I use it!

New year, new blade. Shaved on NYE and nothing since. Polsilver was a box I grabbed out of my blade stash along with a few others (Vintage Wilkies, Personna Reds, Feathers) to stock up the cabinet with. And actually had a really nice shave with it, although it is not to the sharpness of the Wilkies and Feathers that I have been using in more recent times. Nice comfortable shave.

Really enjoying Summertime Breeze for a while now as my daily, nice slickness to it and certainly can take some water. An overall nice summery scent with just a touch of menth, but not enough to satisfy the P&C Menth Heads. While I bought it in his shutdown clearance, I only started using it in about October last year. I am a bit sad that @CraigE stopped making what is a really good soap, and I was stupid not to grab some prior to the shutdown happening. Would have loved an AS in this scent.
