  • Blade : Wilkinson Sword. (German)
  • Pre-Shave : Original cube unscented.
  • Brush : B&B Synthetic Chubby.
  • Soap : The Goodfella's Smile Solo (the moon story).
  • Balm : Thayers witch hazel aloe vera.
  • Aftershave : Pinaud Clubman Virgin Island Bay Rum.
  • Weight : 117 grams
Hi all,
I had a good shave this afternoon with The Goodfellas' smile open comb razor.
The razor shaves close and smooth I felt the blade angle was more important
with this head than some of razors I have used over the years. I wouldn't recommend
it to new wet shavers as you could easily nick themselves with this razor.
The handle is very good grip wise and easy to control.

The Goodfella's Smile Solo is a fine soap with a pleasing scent.
That's until you drown it with Bay Rum.:ROFLMAO:
(My wife hates this after shave) :sneaky:

An abbreviated shave this morning, since I had somewhere to be. But enough to know that the Eufros soap is possibly the very best non-milled soap I've ever used. (y)

Mme hasn't commented yet, which I take to be a good thing. She is unbelievably quick on the draw when she has a complaint. :LOL: The scent strength is at the upper end of my preference (lighter when lathered, of course) but it is pleasant, what I would describe (however inaccurately) as a bright lavender-forward fougère. As far as I'm concerned, the soap is a keeper. (y)

No, that is the original knot. Effectively this is a vintage butterscotch Simpson 'Chubby' but under the Hoffritz branding.
