@thorpef1 you're review is amazing! So detailed and the pics made me laugh haha. Very useful feedback, thank you. And actually my more recent batches are slightly firmer, the pucks were just a little too soft for my liking so I tweaked it.

Your reddit post generated quite a few orders for me and it was so much fun seeing my soap as a 'mail call' on there! Thank you 🙏

If the Speedster likes it then it must be good Les. Awaiting my stash. I'm just happy to see an Aussie Artisan here and she has our support.

I think Washpool make excellent shaving soaps too and have a review on one coming in the near future.

Don't overload the brush, because, this soap EATS A LOT OF WATER!
 
Pre-shave:- Cool Shower
Bowl/Scuttle:- Captain's Choice
Brush:- Stirling Finest Badger 26/54mm bulb knot
Soap/Cream:- Woolly Wash Soapery (Australian made) ~ Night at the Pub
Razor/Blade:- iKon B1 Standard with Bulldog Handle / Gillette Stainless (red & white) #10
Post/After-shave:- T.N. Dickinson Witch Hazel Astringent mixed into the 240ml bottle with Plunkett's Vita E Pure with Rosehip Oil (10 drops), Natural Plant Glycerine (20) & Tea Tree Oil Antiseptic (5)
Moisturising Cream:- Aveeno Active Naturals Daily Fragrance-Free (for autumn & winter season)
Fragrance:- Proraso Wood & Spice

This soap should be called Boozie Christmas at the Pub, instead of Night at the Pub, because, this soap smells exactly like a boozie Christmas cake just like my grandmother used to make on Christmas Eve every year. @WoollyWunder may I ask why did you choose Night at Pub?
Smells bloody boozie, I smell like a drunken man on Christmas Day at the pub. :giggle::LOL:

Scented with a warm and sweet whisky like fragrance, reminiscent of boozy fruit cake. Expect rich notes of bourbon, oak, fruit cake, bay, beer and a hint of spice - a bold and cozy scent perfect for cooler mornings.

Edit:- Two new shaving soap scent available at Woolly Wash Soapery.

Maybe it should be called Christmas at the Pub instead :ROFLMAO:. But Night at the Pub was because its Strayan and boozy, I did my best to convey the boozy christmas cake like scent in the scent notes haha. Hope you liked it!

Thanks all for the warm welcome and support! The wet shaving community was something I had no idea about until recently, there are quite a few of you who are really passionate about it. I'm delighted to make soaps you can enjoy and love seeing feedback both good and bad (coz there's always room for improvement). Its much appreciated!

Trust me, I like it 🥃 (y) I may get a bit worried, if, my mother smells me as a drunken man from the pub. :LOL::joyful:
