This Noble Otter Rainroot doesn't really smell like rain in a jungle or in an Amazon rainforest, the scent is okay not perfect, and happy to keep it in my den with the rest of the whole Noble Otter soaps collections.

Maybe we have other things happen where we can’t post a picture every day doesn’t mean we’re not shaving @silverlifter 😏
I myself unless I’m going out somewhere special. Prefer to shave every second or third day sometimes longer if I’m doing Night Shift.
Like I am at the moment….
It’s sad these days that most forums if not all have come down to shave of the day, what have you got in the post and things like that?
Unfortunately, shaving forums don’t have the attraction they once had a decade ago.
Some forums as you know a quite a bit busier than this one unfortunately they’ve all suffered the same fate to a certain extent.
We are extremely lucky here to have @Errol and @Bladerunner7 doing their reviews.

I haven't quite finished my Yardley Green Label puck, but today I felt that I really deserved a treat after yesterday's trauma. I overdramatise of course: that process was a nice ½ hour plus of refreshing sleep, it was just the preparation that was "suboptimal". For a man in his early autumn years, that's enough, thank you.

The incomparable, unobtainium Black Label is like a fresh breeze from my teens (back in the '70s). I had had gifts of YBL "Soap on a rope" (remember those?) many times (nobody seems to do that anymore) and I used this shaving soap with abandon when I first started shaving. I just need a time machine to go back and pick up some more. Just sublime.

Hi all,
I had a simply stunning shave this afternoon with the Apex Ti.
I say stunning because I have the apex SS version as well but the Ti version is another step above it in smoothness.
The Apex SS version is very efficient and smooth also but you get the feeling it could bite if your technique is a little bit off on the day , where as the Ti version is somewhat more forgiving in my opinion.
I also found the razor very nimble and easy to use. No doubt helped by the light weight the second pass felt like it was for touch-ups only the shave was that good.

I was meant to use Kentucky rain shaving soap for the shave, but after bowl lathering the soap, I went to get a coffee and On return knocked the bowl of the counter with the coffee cup.
Obviously, it was meant to be The Fine accoutrements Latigo was an excellent replacement as Kentucky rain was from a small sample pot.

Finished of nicely with 4711 Original Eau De Cologne Aftershave.

1 pass WTG 1 pass ATG no touch-ups done.
No, nicks no worries.
