Just had my second shave with the stainless steel Hawk (and 'A' plate), with a Proline blade.
Used the dregs of the Cella Bio just to get rid of it.
Yes, a lovely smooth shave today and a better job than my Pearl Flexi set on '6' ever did. The Hawk does shave closer.
First shave yesterday the shave was OK but the new blade felt a tad tuggy, however it has smoothed out now.
Once the Cella Bio has gone I'll be using the Aermeda soap and that should be even better.
When I change the blade I'll get frisky and try the OC plate too.
Then I have Feather Pro, and Pro Super, plus Kai Captain Original, and Pink to work on.
Nice razor, and a nice shave...pleased I bought it.

A fantastic edge on Yasuki steel and my favourite knot, a Zenith 27mm unbleached boar heavily loaded with MdC makes for a pretty amazing shave!
