Brush; Rudy Vey, “Vermillion Eagle” stabilised Padauk timber handle, clear coat finish with a 25mm Muhle STF ++ Synthetic fibre knot at Rudy’s loft setting.
Soap; Yardley, Vintage Green label.
Razor; Atelier Durdan, La Faulx ‘’The Scythe’’ AC razor with ++ plate. L.E 3/20 “Criniere Ardente” Fiery Mane.
Blade; Schick, Proline P30.
Post-shave; My Concoction; Wahl Traditional Bay Rum 500mls, Witch Hazel 500mls, Moroccan Argan Oil 100mls, Bay Laurel Essential Oil 25mls, Vit E 5mls, Natural Plant Glycerine 2.5mls and 1.25mls of Tea Tree Oil Antiseptic (Thoroughly mixed together) aftershave/moisturiser splash!! ‘’Superb’’

Shave; Very pleasant shave, very smooth following a 2 pass and touch-up shave. The RV brush, my 1st synthetic that I really enjoy using, acts like a Badger, i.e.; soaking in warm water translates to warm fibres, YMMV but that’s what I find? The Yardley is a superb lathering soap, I really enjoy using, finished off with My Concoction.

Shave; Bloody great old fashioned shave with the (IMHO) the nicest looking razor Gillette ever made, bar none. I’m getting really hooked on the Vintage Yardley, wondering if I may prefer it over Vintage O/S, mmh!! Finished off with the splash/moisturiser, for a pleasant shave to start the day.
