Soap: C&B Geranium
Brush: Italian Boar
Razor: Bengall
I don't know if any of you remember a number of years back a few of us bought some soap from 'Soap by Luna', a spanish artisan. I think it may have been
@todras who came across her. I bought two of her soaps, 'Geranio' and 'Fauno' and use them sparingly as I enjoy them very much.
Elena's soap is no longer available and I've been thinking for a while I'd like to have a crack at remaking them, and since I don't have any recipe for her soap or soap fragrance it's more like a tribute to 'Soaps by Luna'.
This one is a knod to Geranio and I'm pretty happy with the result. It's hard to compare the scents as the original I have is showing its age with the scent not so bright anymore.
The soap base is also a knod to Elena but I didn't have Borage oil on hand so I used Evening Primrose (next closest high GLA oil). Apart from that the only other departure was the use of Tussah Silk.
Ingredients: Stearic Acid, Coconut Oil, Cocoa Butter, Primrose oil, KOH, NaOH, Tussah Silk, Filtered Water (RO), glycerin, essentail oils.
Fragrance: Geranium, Rosemary, Clove.
Will have to adjust the KOH/NaOH split as this batch was very soft/creamy, but lathered beautifully and provided a luxurious lather to shave off.
