As a matter of interest, what's your opinion of Rosa-Oud? (I mean just the scent, as we already know the base is second to none...)

Manuel's masterpiece. I was hesitant as I'm not a huge rose fan, but this blend is beautifully balanced; an almost dark, heritage rose scent grounded in a rich earthy base. If that might be your thing, I'll smush you.

I was so looking forward to this shave with the Rainroot that arrived yesterday. It smells glorious off the puck, but when lathered up, the scent leans more into petrol than petrichor. In fact, it smells (to me) very much like Swarfega. Somehow, I don't believe I'll be using it again. Bugger.
