Pre - Shower
Brush - Semogue 620
Soap - Phoenix & Beau Sanskrit
Razor - Gillette Red Tip
Blade - Personna Lab Blue (2)
Post Shave - Witch Hazel, TSW After Balm

Smooth shave from the Red Tip this morning, it’s a nice and mild razor.
I just need to use it a bit more to get used to finding the right angle.

The Red Tip was meant to be a bit more aggressive for "heavy" beards... I agree - its pretty tame

Pre-Shave: Cypriotian Olive/Argan Oil soap, cold water
Razor: ATT S-1 Kronos
Blade: Voskhod (1)
Brush: Doug Korn Epsilon 2-band
Lather: Mystic Water Jeff's Lavender
Post-shave: Alum, Australian Private Reserve Choix Alfredus - made and generously donated by @todras

What a fantastic weekend shave today. The razor blade combo is really fantastic - although I do prefer the longer Colossus handle. The Mystic Water lather was truly spectacular (picture here), but the real star of the show was the post shave balm - generously made and donated by @todras !

My review of this great product can been read here - sufficient to say, that I am truly humbled, that my name was chosen for this scent it is truly stellar!

Pre: Occams Lime
Soap: B&M Seville
Blade: Parker 510 6/8" Full hollow square
Brush: Paladin 26mm Lotus
Post: Barristers Reserve - Cool

Wow. Paladin. Where have you been all my life? Tips? What tips? I cannot feel any tips. They are that soft, I feel nothing. Backbone, flow through, spot on. Only wish for a fan but the hybrid is very good.

Superlative shave where just about everything is perfect. Lather could have had a little more water is my only complaint but the soap performed regardless.

Brush: Berkeley
Razor: Gillette Aristocrat Junior
Blade: Aussie Spoiler
Cream: GFT Violets
A/S: GFT Skinfood
Cologne: GFT Ajaccio Violets

It's shaves like today that make me wonder why I ever use anything other than Trumpers creams.

That's a lovely British line-up. GFT really nails the violet scent.

Great shave this evening. 2 pass DFS+ with my newly acquired NOS Russian blade honed on my Arkansas set. Insanely sharp, yet deceptively smooth. I confess to a splog of claret tonight where over 46 years of wet shaving has caused a small scar in the area just below my bottom lip. Not a genuine cut more a pathetic nick :) I think we all have one particular spot that from time to time is routinely cut down to size.

Pre:
Proraso Green Pre/Post
Razor: iKon X3
Blade: Permasharp Super (5)
Soap: MWF
Brush: Omega Boar
Post: Alum, Emu Oil, Myrsol Formula "C"

Final shave with the Permasharp tonight. Managed a couple of weepers, which I doubt would have occurred with a fresher blade. I feel like the Polsilver blades give me a little more longevity. Overall a decent blade, with reasonable longevity.

Doug Korn D7 TGN Finest
Gillette Fatboy
Feather
Jabonman 'Brisa de Oriente'
aPR - Easterly Breeze Aftershave Balm
aPR - Easterly Breeze Aftershave Splash

I really have so few words that could possibly do justice to the quality of Jabonman's soap, it is without a doubt superb on all fronts. The performance of the soap itself is exceptionally good but he takes his craft and skill a step further and uses pure essential oils in his soaps and nothing less - worth the few extra bucks twice over.

I formulated an aftershave and balm for this most wonderful Cardamom scented creation with some incredibly generous assistance from the man himself, and with some fairly taxing formulas and calculations I got it almost identical for no other reason than the pleasure that this particular scent gives me.

A fantastic two pass this morning, the rich buttery lather the stuff you dream all shaves should be, the smell indescribably good - a warm and ancient base of myyrh with cardamom and friends carrying the proceedings, a superb way to start Sunday. Finished up with an ice cold water rinse to clean and to stave off the Sydney humidity then on with a small amount of balm (the cream base is very concentrated btw - use less than most other balms) and a substantially more generous than usual application (drenching) of Aftershave.

I'm happier than a pig in shit - have a bloody good day youse blokes and shave like the wild, glorious bastards you are:)

Lather Shot

Stealth Slant v4
Permasharp Super
SOC 2 band
PAA Al Fin Combo

Great Sunday shave. PAA is a top shelf all around performer. The lather is excellent, very protective and slick, my skin loves the aftershaves and the scents are out of this world and last. A top shave to start the day and very much looking forward to the Adelaide meet-up this afternoon.

Have a great Sunday you bunch of Bantha Fodder!
