I know your pain, I have a 30mm butterscotch M&F brush stuck in UK customs and it's killing me!

@todras try and relax and breath ;)

Razor: Vintage Gillette Fatboy (5)
Blade: Persona 'Lab Blue' (2)
Brush: Vintage butterscotch Simpson
Soap/Cream: Le Pere Lucien Shaving Soap
Aftershave: Le Pere Lucien After Shave Splash

Almost as good face feel as an APR splash ...

Occam's Crushed Lime Shave Cream
Castle Forbes Lime Aftershave Balm
Barristers Reserve Cool

Quite a relaxed start to a Friday for a change, nice sharp citrus bight from the Occams, a continuation from the CF and for a light, clean finish the BR Cool. Just the ticket in this muggy weather

I say, Shave well you chaps :)

Shower
Feather AC DX non folding with Pro Super blade (12)
Tim's Greek Peach + glycerine
Witch Hazel + cold rinse

Another 2 pass WTG/ATG shave and BBS result. No damage at all this time - not even a weeper. I'd like to think it's my exemplary technique but in reality the blade has mellowed out a lot now - I remember the Pro blade doing the same thing after about the same number of shaves. It means you have to be extra lazy to hurt yourself. Compared to shaving with a new blade, this makes shaving much more relaxed... The soap just made bubbles at the start (likely my error) and took a lot of working to get creamy. No residual slickness whatsoever but the post shave feel was still pretty good. While this is probably my least favourite soap, I didn't get hurt. I'm thinking I should probably stick with individual soaps for at least a week at a time to learn how to best lather them as changing all the time means I'm not getting the best out of them.

Pre: Valobra Glycerlanolina soap, Myrsol Antesol and Emulsion
Brush: Simpson Chubby 2 Super Badger
Soap: B&M Rhapsody
Razor: ATT Kronos open comb M2
Blade: Vintage Rotbart Platinveredelt (3)
Post: Myrsol Antesol and Emulsion
Cologne: Farina 1709 Original

I really enjoy a soap fragrance with a rough/dirty edge to it. Barrister & Mann nail it with both Cologne Russe and Rhapsody.
3 pass shave for BBS result. Enjoyed the Rotbart blade, but it is just starting to deteriorate, so will reload next time out.
A perfect summer finish with the refreshing and classic Farina 1709 cologne from, well, Cologne!

Stone Cottage Soapworks - Hesperide

Australian Private Reserve - choix Alfredus

Off to sunny Adelaide today although Ive heard it might be a bit cool down there this Christmas, so I have packed extra jackets. Nice sharp shave from the SCS this morning, fresh citrus and herb always works well together. I thought the APR choice this morning was fitting too, and it works particularly well with the Hesperide.

Have a bloody good day :)
