I'm not too sure. I assume after the wooden bowl. It's got quite a bit of lavender scent left too.

Great first SOTD picture @Sxot - and great to read your thoughts! You just decided for me which soap from the Travelling box to use next 
I also love, that you compare your products/experiences. Nothing worse, than somebody saying, this is the best brush ever, but you don't know if it is their first or 100th brush...
I also absolutely agree with @Mark1966 that you should write as much (or as little) as you want in the SOTD, but if you want it to be noticeable/search-able it is probably a good idea to add it to some existing threads about the individual products (or start a new one, if it is not there yet).

Aftershave: Myrsol Agua Balsamica
Leisurely shave before heading off to uni for the morning. Decided to jump on something I'd not used for a while - the CRSW Bergamot and Bay. I'd forgotten how rich, moisturizing and luxurious these soaps are. Simply top shelf, I cannot think of anything that performs better. While that MIGHT just be my aging memory you really deserve to give yourself the chance to try these.
Not sure that the Myrsol was a great match for the CRSW soap (couldn't think of what would work) but a great product in its own right.
In other news the vintage NOS Schick Super Platinum has reached the end of the line. I probably could be stretched further, and no pulling or tugging etc, but I like them to retire on top, not as aging has-beens.

Performance is the usual B&M. The easiest lathering, slickest & most protective soap out there bar none. If there is better, I haven't tried it. The scenting is - well you have to smell it for yourself but it is bloody good.
If you don't have any B&M yet, I suggest wandering over The Stray Whisker and ordering some. The 'Latha' original scent is a good starting point and it is inexpensive also. Not quite as good as the full B&M soap base but close. Seville is also a favourite of mine - clean barbershop with a slight citrus note.

Was on a school camp for the week so it was good to be back in my shave den. Three days of growth over sunburnt skin - the iKon Slant is made for such a job. Near BBS (a slight nick cos I was sloppy and tired) and no irritation.
The Chubby is still not giving up the lather, but this is only my 3rd time using it.

I didn't see it as any different to the original tub of Lavanille that I have, or any other B&M soap. All are mental in performance.

Tonight I'll be driving the Merkur Progress Long Handle again and the blade gap settings will be #2, I've read a lot of reviews saying anybody got very sensitive skin using either a Merkur Progress at (1.5 or 2) or a Feather ASD2 blade gab is #1.5 these razor is the number one highest choice for men who has very sensitive skin so this is going to be very interesting for me to see my Merkur Porgress at #2

SOTD for 2 days this week (and 2 more days in another fortnight).
I travelled down to Brisvegas for work during the week and decided to do the carry on baggage thing with the QC ticket bit. A really convenient and fast method. Anyway, that means no straights and I also had my doubts about DE's anf razor blades. Got down to the big smoke and had to purchase some disposables. Wanting to stay true to the "one blade gets the job done" ethos I purchased Bic single blade disposables at $2.69 for a pack of 10 (or was it 8???). I used a bar of hand soap and lathered up. Finding the correct angle was simple enough and using the 3 pass method learned though this forum I ended up with an very good shave for work. It somewhat lacked the cool factor or a straight or quality DE but the el cheapo Bic did a great shave. I was suitably impressed and learned it is method, method, method. But it was good to use a straight again this morning.

Been there, done that when I've left my cart and shave soap at home once - but take some shaving soap next time @Dale.Whiley - it will make a significant difference.
If you haven't got a shave soap stick then take a sample out of your current soaps into a little pot I use these from Woolies for the travelling box

The Aussie is very so so, the Euro is much better. I had the Euro as my default in a converted UHU glue stick container. Now I have a DR Harris. My son has a Euro in a glue stick as his travel kit
I got the stick from you out of a pack you sold a while ago. I was at the early stages of my lathering journey and found it a bit wispy. Went back to a blade I know for a few to get my bench mark back. Made the mistake of using a new brush and a new soap. Soap was underwhelming but I think the brush had something to do with it. Still a good shave. Going back to known brushes and known soaps when testing new blades.

Had some stubble going along the jawline from this week. Been only part shaving to give a couple of ingrowns a chance to heal. Today just wanted to get rid of it, so went the beast. I can never get over how efficient this razor is. 2 passes for BBS. Couple of nicks which I expected given the bumps are still there.
Can't wait for the Mysrol delivery on it's way from Juan @Gifts&Care.com !
